We encourage prospective parents to make an appointment to be shown around their preferred school. You will experience real teaching and learning and get a flavour of the friendly, community atmosphere, as well as getting to meet some of the children and teachers.
Tours are carried out year-round by a member of the Senior Leadership Team and are aimed at giving you a chance to see the school and everything it has to offer. We would be delighted to welcome you.

Academic City Tours
Although it will not be possible to tour the actual site just yet, we will have the opportunity for prospective parents and students to meet with our Headteacher, Neil Brinicombe, and find out more information about how DESS Academic City will look and what experiences your children will have when it opens in September 2025. These events will be based at the College campus, opposite to where the school will be built and you will be able to see for yourself the progress made as we near the completion date.
